# How do I keep earning from a client after the project is delivered?

**The problem**“I build the shop, get paid once, and the client earns from it for years. Can I share in that?”

**Take a share of each sale you set up.** As a platform you set a percentage of the price before VAT plus a fixed amount per client. It applies to every one-time sale, subscription renewal and paid invoice: on a €100 sale at 10% + €0.50, you earn €10.50.

## How does the *share* work?

1.  Buyer**Never sees it**

    The receipt shows the product and price only.

2.  Changes**New sales only**

    Each sale keeps the share it was made with.

3.  Payment**After the reserve**

    With your own payout, 120 days after the sale by default.

4.  Refunds**Returned with the sale**

    A refunded or lost-dispute sale returns its share.

## How do I *set it up*?

1.  **Add the client** as a business on your platform account.

2.  **Open Businesses**, choose the client, then Set share.

3.  **Watch it arrive** in the Platform fees card on your Balances page.
