# How do I sell Canva templates? **The problem** "I design Canva templates people want. Etsy Payments does not cover my country, Stripe does not either, and I want buyers to pay by card and get the template straight away." To sell Canva templates, design them yourself, share each one as a Canva template link, and sell that link through a checkout that pays you where you live. Canva's help page says templates that use Pro content can be sold only as template links, not as a PDF or other file. If Etsy Payments or Stripe does not cover your country, a merchant of record such as AgentaOS can take the card payment, handle the VAT and pay you at home. Your own designs, made in Canva. Canva's help page [Use Canva to design digital and physical products for sale](https://www.canva.com/help/using-canva-to-create-products-for-sale/) sets three rules that matter here: - **Pro content: template link only.** "If you want to create and sell templates that include Pro Content, you can only sell these as Canva template links." And: "You can't sell templates with Pro Content as a PDF or other file types, whether flattened or not." - **Free content and your own photos: link or file.** In Canva's own example, templates that "only include Free Content and photos" the designer took himself can be sold "as PDFs or as Canva template links". - **Original designs only, no stock.** "You can only sell original designs" and "You can't sell any Canva content on a standalone basis." Canva's license "does not allow you to use Free or Pro Content to design and sell your own stock content (e.g. clipart files)". Canva also runs a [Template Creators program](https://www.canva.com/creators/templates/): creators "must apply and be accepted". That is Canva's marketplace, not your own shop. ### Can I sell Canva templates without Etsy? Yes. A Canva template link is just a link, so any checkout that can send the buyer to a page after payment will work. That matters if you live outside Etsy's payment countries. Etsy says: "Etsy Payments is currently available for shops in the following countries". N. Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro are not on that list. Serbia is, with an asterisk: "Sellers in countries with * next to their names can accept Etsy Payments with a Payoneer Payment Account." Where the platform is the legal seller (as AgentaOS is), it charges the buyer's VAT and issues the invoice. On a thank-you page. You create a one-time product, set its Success URL to a page on your site that holds the Canva template link, and the buyer lands there after paying ([payment links docs](https://docs.agentaos.ai/payments/payment-links.md)). Anyone who has the link can copy the template, so keep that page out of your menu and change the link if it leaks. For a link per buyer, a developer can use the [AgentaOS payment webhook](https://docs.agentaos.ai/payments/webhooks.md) to email it. No website? Then you sell a template link, not a PDF. Draw any clipart yourself. 2. **Make the template link.** In Canva, open Share and create the template link for the design. Test it in a private browser window. 3. **Write the thank-you page.** A page on your site with the template link, how to use it, and how to reach you. Keep it out of your menu. 4. **Create the product.** In AgentaOS, create a product with a name, a price in EUR or USD and the type **One-time** ([payment links docs](https://docs.agentaos.ai/payments/payment-links.md)). 5. **Send buyers to the link.** Under **After payment**, click **+ Redirect buyers after payment** and enter your thank-you page as the **Success URL**. 6. **Share one buyer link.** Put it on your site, your Instagram or Pinterest bio, and your newsletter. If Etsy Payments covers your country and Etsy's buyers are why you sell, stay on Etsy: AgentaOS brings no marketplace traffic.
