# What does Paddle charge? Paddle fees explained

**The problem**“Paddle says 5% + 50 cents. What do I actually receive in my bank?”

**5% + \$0.50 per sale, with no monthly fee.** Payouts are free in matching currency by SEPA or ACH, but a SWIFT wire costs \$15 when your payout currency differs from your bank’s country, and conversion can cost up to 1.5%. Paddle pays out once a month, from the 1st, when your balance passes \$100, by wire or Payoneer. On ten \$100 sales, \$930 to \$945 reaches your bank. All-in, a first year at €2,000 a month is about €2,085, time included.

First year, selling €2,000 a month (€50 average, half the buyers abroad, subscriptions). Your time (setup, invoicing, tax and bookkeeping each month) valued at €30 an hour. Sources: each provider’s pricing page; company and accountant costs from Stripe Atlas, the State of Delaware, e-resident.gov.ee and enty.io, as on [our cost calculator](https://agentaos.ai/compare). Without the \$15 SWIFT fee (SEPA/ACH payouts): €360 less.

**Honestly:** tax, invoices and filings are included with all three, so the difference is fees and payouts. Paddle’s flat 5% beats the AgentaOS free plan on international cards; its \$15 SWIFT payouts cost more if you are outside SEPA or ACH.

Doing it yourself with Stripe and a US company costs about €5,957 all-in in the first year.

Beyond the fee

## What else should I *compare*?

- **What you sell**Paddle is built for software and prohibits pure services such as coaching or consulting. AgentaOS accepts service packages.
- **Where you live**Paddle accepts sellers widely; check how payouts reach you, since a SWIFT wire costs \$15 each time.
