Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor**Add the connector** Add `https://mcp.agentaos.ai/mcp` as a remote MCP server and approve it. Connecting also creates your account. 2. Claude Code**Install the plugin** Type `/mcp`, pick `agentaos`, then Authenticate. 3. Anything else**CLI or SDK** `npm install -g agentaos` for the CLI, or `@agentaos/pay` in your server code. Why a merchant of record ## Why an agent needs a *legal seller* An agent can write a Stripe integration in minutes. It cannot register for VAT in the EU, sales tax in US states, or file the returns every quarter. With a merchant of record, those registrations are the merchant of record’s, because it is the seller on the receipt. You get the payout, as an individual or a company, from 190+ countries. A company that is the legal seller on every sale your AI agent sets up. Your agent creates the products, checkout links and subscriptions; the merchant of record sells them in its own name, so it charges and files VAT and sales tax, issues the invoices and handles chargebacks. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor through the hosted MCP server at https://mcp.agentaos.ai/mcp, Claude Code through the AgentaOS plugin, and any other tool through the agentaos CLI or the @agentaos/pay SDK. ### What can the agent do? Create one-time products and subscription plans with trials, create checkout links, add discount codes, list customers, subscriptions and invoices, quote and apply plan changes, add credits and cancel subscriptions. It also requests the free Pricing Intelligence audit of your pricing. ### What can the agent not do? It never sees card numbers: buyers type them on the hosted checkout. It cannot take real money until the business is verified, and only a person can pass the ID check and confirm the seller declaration.
