How do I sell Framer templates without Stripe?

The problem“My Framer template is ready for the Marketplace. Every guide says connect Stripe, and Stripe does not accept sellers in my country.”

You can sell Framer templates without Stripe because Framer does not take payments at all: you paste a checkout link from any payment platform into your Marketplace listing, and you keep 100% of what that platform pays you. Pick a checkout that pays out to a bank in your country, make sure it meets Framer's five checkout rules, and deliver the remix link after payment.

Answer

Does Framer need Stripe to sell templates?

No. Framer's help page says: "Framer does not process payments or handle transactions." It adds: "You can use any platform that provides a direct payment link, such as Contra, Stripe, or Gumroad." You create the product on that platform, copy the checkout URL, and paste it into the payment field of your Marketplace listing (Framer, updated 15 September 2026).

Framer takes no cut: "For paid templates, you keep 100% of the revenue from each sale," and you may sell the same template elsewhere too (Framer, submitting a template). Your costs are your checkout's fees.

Framer sets five rules for the checkout page. It must:

  1. Go directly to payment, without extra steps.
  2. Clearly show the product and price.
  3. Match the price in your Marketplace listing.
  4. Be public, with no login before purchase.
  5. Include a clear refund or cancellation policy.

Delivery is yours. Framer says you are responsible for delivering the product, and "most creators provide access using a remix URL, component URL, or vector set URL."

Which checkout pays out where I live?

Stripe being unavailable only matters if your checkout pays you through your own Stripe account. Several do not.

Step by step

How do I sell Framer templates without Stripe, step by step?

  1. Finish the template and get the remix link. In Framer, copy the remix link for your project. Treat it like a key: anyone with it can copy the template.
  2. Build a thank-you page. Put the remix link, short usage instructions and your support email on a page that is not in your menu or sitemap. Buyers land here after paying.
  3. Create a one-time product. In AgentaOS, open Products > New product, enter the template name, price and description, and set the Success URL to your thank-you page under "After payment" (payment links docs). Your AI agent can do it too: "create a €49 product called Studio Template and give me the buyer link".
  4. Add your refund line. Write your refund policy in the product description, for example "Refunds within 14 days if the remix link does not work". Buyer purchases also fall under the AgentaOS Buyer Terms (section 10 covers refunds) and refund policy.
  5. Test the link against Framer's rules. Open the buyer link in a private browser window. It should open the checkout straight away, show the name and price, ask for no login, and show your refund line. Make a test purchase and confirm you reach the thank-you page.
  6. Paste the link into your Marketplace listing. Set the same price in Framer as in the checkout. Use the same buyer link on your site, X or Instagram bio and newsletter.
  7. Protect the link and get paid. If the remix link leaks, make a new one and update the thank-you page. For a link per buyer, a developer can use the AgentaOS payment webhook to email it after each sale. AgentaOS pays out to your own bank in EUR or USD (Terms, section 8). Declare the income at home; ask a local accountant.

Answer

What about Webflow templates?

Webflow works differently. Paid Webflow Marketplace templates must be approved first, then the creator onboards with Stripe (Webflow Stripe onboarding guide). Webflow's guide says "Stripe does not support cross-border payouts for all countries" and that creators in unsupported countries must meet special requirements. Its FAQ suggests getting a foreign tax ID through an incorporation service and onboarding as a US business, and says Webflow cannot help configure this.

We found no Webflow page that lets you paste an external checkout link, as Framer does. If Stripe will not pay you, sell Webflow templates on your own site or another platform with a checkout that pays out where you live, and read Webflow's own rules on selling outside its Marketplace first.

Does Framer take a cut of template sales?

How do buyers get my Framer template after paying?

You deliver it. Set your checkout's Success URL to a private thank-you page holding the remix link. If the link leaks, replace it. A developer can use a payment webhook to email a link per buyer.

Not on the Webflow Marketplace, which pays creators through Stripe. Webflow suggests a US business setup for unsupported countries. You can sell on your own site with a checkout that pays out where you live; check Webflow's rules first.
