A merchant of record for AI agents is the legal seller on every sale your agent sets up. Why an agent needs a legal seller
An agent can write a Stripe integration in minutes. It cannot register for VAT in the EU, sales tax in US states, or file the returns every quarter. What can the agent do?

What can the agent not do?
It never sees card numbers: buyers type them on the hosted checkout. It cannot take real money until the business is verified, and only a person can pass the ID check and confirm the seller declaration. Everything works in test mode first.
Who is the seller on the receipt?
AgentaOS, as merchant of record. The agent acts for your verified business; it is never the seller itself.
How much does it cost?
No monthly fee. 4.5% + €0.50 per card sale on pay as you go, or 4% + €0.40 on Pro. VAT and sales tax are charged to the buyer on top.
Do I need a company?
No. You can sell as an individual or a company from 190+ countries, including many where Stripe is not available. Sanctioned countries are excluded.
