The terms you meet when you sell by card from anywhere, explained in one or two sentences each, with a link to the full answer.

Merchant of Record (MoR)
The company that legally sells your product to your buyer. It takes the payment, owes and files the tax, issues the invoice and pays you what is left. more
Growth Merchant of Record
A Merchant of Record that also helps you earn more. AgentaOS includes Pricing Intelligence, which tells you what to charge. more
Payment processor
A service that moves card money for you, like Stripe used directly. You stay the seller and the tax stays yours. more
Payout
Money sent from your AgentaOS balance to your bank or wallet. Payouts run on the 1st and the 15th of each month. more
Payout fee
1% of the amount paid out, at least €1 or $1, plus the cost of the transfer itself. more
Swift transfer
An international bank transfer, used where there is no local route. It costs about €5 with shared cost, more with fixed cost. more
SEPA
The Single Euro Payments Area: cheap, fast euro transfers between member countries. Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia joined in October 2025. more
Stablecoin payout
A payout in EURC or USDC to a wallet instead of a bank, on the same schedule. Useful where bank payouts are not available. more
Self-billed invoice
An invoice the Merchant of Record issues in your name for each payout, documenting your sale of the products to it. Give it to your accountant. more
Payout statement
A PDF listing every sale in a payout, the fees and what reached your account. more
VAT
Value added tax. On digital sales to EU consumers it is owed in the buyer’s country; a Merchant of Record charges and files it. more
Non-Union OSS
The EU scheme that lets a seller based outside the EU declare VAT for all EU countries in one quarterly return. more
Reverse charge
When an EU business buyer with a valid VAT number accounts for the VAT itself, so the invoice shows 0% VAT. more
Chargeback
A card payment reversed by the buyer’s bank after a dispute. With a Merchant of Record, it answers the bank for you. more
Reserve
A safety amount held back on new accounts for a while; your balance shows when it frees up. more
Domiciliary account
A bank account in a foreign currency such as USD or EUR, common in Nigeria and other countries, needed for same-currency payouts. more
Productized service
A service sold like a product: fixed scope, price and delivery time, bought by card from a checkout link. more
