How do I sell n8n templates without Stripe?
The problem“Where can I sell my N8N workflow? I am looking for marketplaces, not the Creator Hub" (a creator on the n8n community forum, October 2025)”
To sell n8n templates without Stripe, list the template where buyers look and point its Buy button at a checkout that pays out to your country. n8n does not process the sale: its docs make you responsible for tracking payments and delivering the template. Gumroad and Lemon Squeezy pay out to banks in N. Macedonia, Serbia and Pakistan; a merchant of record such as AgentaOS also lets you sell the setup as a fixed-price package.
How do paid templates on the n8n Creator Hub work?
New creators submit one template at a time. "After n8n approves three of your templates, you become a verified creator", and verified creators "can offer paid templates" (n8n docs, create workflow templates). The same quality and documentation rules apply to paid templates.
The key line is the next one: "You're responsible for tracking payments, delivering the template after someone buys it, and keeping it accessible to the buyer. Failure to deliver a paid template may result in account suspension or a ban." So n8n is the shop window. The payment runs on a checkout you choose, and that checkout decides whether you can be paid where you live.
What do paid n8n templates sell for?
Our count, 6 November 2026: we pulled 5,775 of the 14,006 templates in n8n's public library through its search (20 topic searches). 657 had a price.

Can I get paid from N. Macedonia, Serbia or Pakistan?
Yes. The checkout you link is what matters, and Stripe is not an option in these three countries.

Honestly: for a plain template download, Gumroad and Lemon Squeezy both work from all three countries. The difference shows up in the payout currency, the fee, and whether you can also sell your setup work.
What about Make.com templates?
Make lets you publish a scenario template, share it by public link, and ask Make to add it to its public library. Its help pages describe sharing only; they list no way to charge for a template (Make, create and manage scenario templates). Anyone with a published template's public link can use it.
To sell one, export the scenario as a blueprint, a `.json` file the buyer imports; buyers still create their own app connections afterwards (Make, blueprints). Sell that file plus your setup guide on your own checkout, the same way as an n8n template.

Can I sell the setup, not just the template?
Many buyers would rather pay you to install the workflow than import a JSON file. AgentaOS can sell that as a Service Package: a service sold like a product. The contents, deliverable, price and delivery window are fixed in advance and identical for every buyer. The buyer can supply inputs, such as their n8n login or a Google Sheet, but cannot change the scope or the price (Terms, section 21).
Example: "n8n lead-capture workflow installed in your account, 3 working days, €300". Every buyer gets the same workflow, the same steps and the same price.

Packages need approval for your account, and delivery must be provable in writing, so a package delivered only on a call does not qualify. Keep a handover email with what you installed and a test run.
How do I sell an n8n template, step by step?
- Clean the workflow. Export it as JSON and remove secrets, personal data and references to your own accounts. Import it into a fresh workflow, follow your own instructions and fix what breaks. These are n8n's own submission steps (n8n docs).
- Write the setup guide. Which credentials the buyer needs, what to change, what a good test run looks like. Put the same notes on the canvas as sticky notes.
- Decide what you sell. A template only, or a template plus a fixed-price setup package for buyers who want it installed.
- Pick a checkout that pays you at home. Use the country table above. If Stripe does not list your country, skip any tool that asks you to connect a Stripe account.
- Create the product. In AgentaOS, make a free account and create a one-time product. Under After payment, set a Success URL: your thank-you page (products docs). For a setup package, apply with the exact scope first.
- Deliver the file. AgentaOS does not host files. Put the download link on the thank-you page, or let a developer send each buyer their own link by email when the `checkout.session.completed` webhook arrives; it carries the buyer's email (webhook events). The receipt is emailed to the buyer automatically.
- List it everywhere, then test. Your site, YouTube, LinkedIn, and the n8n Creator Hub once you are verified, with your buyer link as the purchase link. Pay once in test mode before going live.

Yes, once you are a verified creator. n8n verifies you after it approves three of your templates, submitted one at a time. Paid templates follow the same quality rules, and you must deliver them yourself.
Does n8n pay creators for paid templates?
