The formula and the market
The formula: price = (cost per user + fixed payment fee) ÷ (1 − target margin − payment fee %). With a 75% margin and a 4.5% fee, every $1 of AI cost needs about $4.88 of price.
Your cost per request is (input tokens × input price + output tokens × output price) for your model, from your provider’s price page. We do not prefill model prices because they change often.
