Related questions
How do I calculate MRR?
Add up the monthly value of all active subscriptions: monthly plans at their price, yearly plans divided by 12. One-time sales do not count.
How much of my MRR do I actually keep?
After payment fees, usually 90 to 96% with a merchant of record, depending on the provider, your share of international buyers and payout fees. Use the calculator for your numbers.
When does MRR stop growing?
It varies a lot by price, market and product, so track your own every month. At a steady state, MRR stops growing when new MRR each month equals MRR lost to churn.
Which provider leaves me the most?
It depends on your price, volume and buyer mix: fixed fees hurt cheap plans, payout minimums hurt small volumes and international surcharges hurt global sales. The table ranks them for your inputs.
