How do I sell digital products on WordPress from North Macedonia?
The problem“I have a WordPress site in Skopje. Stripe and PayPal do not work here. How do I sell my e-book, course or templates?”
Put an AgentaOS buy link on your site. Create the product in AgentaOS, copy its buyer link, and add it as a Buy button in WordPress or as an External product in WooCommerce. AgentaOS is the legal seller, so you can sell as an individual; it charges each buyer’s VAT and pays you to your Macedonian bank in EUR or USD on the 1st and the 15th. No plugin to install.
From product to payout
- Create the product. In the AgentaOS dashboard, add a product: a one-time price for an e-book, template or course, or a monthly or yearly plan for a membership. Price it in EUR or USD.
- Send buyers to your download page. Under After payment, click Redirect buyers after payment and enter your thank-you or download page as the Success URL.
- Copy the buyer link. Every product has a copy button for its buyer link. That link is the whole checkout: card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with the buyer’s VAT added.
- Put it on WordPress. Plain WordPress: add a Button block and paste the buyer link. WooCommerce: Products, Add new, set Product data to External/Affiliate product, paste the buyer link as the Product URL and write “Buy now” as the button text.
- Get paid at home. AgentaOS pays your Macedonian bank account by local bank transfer on the 1st and the 15th of each month, in EUR or USD. Open a foreign currency account at your bank for it.

What should I avoid?
- Opening a company abroad just to get StripeSelling as an individual through a merchant of record works from day one.
- Linking the file publiclyPoint the Success URL at a thank-you page that is not in your menu or sitemap, or use webhooks for private links.
- No EUR or USD accountPayouts arrive in EUR or USD, so open a foreign currency account at your bank first.

Do I need a WordPress or WooCommerce plugin?
No. The buyer link is a normal web address, so a Button block or a WooCommerce External/Affiliate product is enough.
Does WooCommerce create an order?
No. With an external product, WooCommerce shows the product and the sale happens on the AgentaOS checkout. The sale, the invoice and the buyer’s receipt are in your AgentaOS dashboard.
How does the buyer get the file?
After paying, the buyer goes to the Success URL you set, for example your download page, and gets an emailed receipt. For a download only paying buyers can open, a developer can use AgentaOS webhooks to send a private link.
Can I show the checkout on my own page?
Yes. Open the product and use Embed on your site to put the checkout inside a WordPress page.
Can I sell subscriptions?
Yes. Create a monthly or yearly plan instead of a one-time product, and use its buyer link the same way.
What about Shopify?
Shopify runs its own checkout and payment settings, so for selling with AgentaOS the simple route is WordPress. On Shopify, check its terms before linking a product to an outside checkout.
What does it cost?
4.5% + €0.50 per sale, with no monthly fee. VAT for buyers abroad is handled for you.
