Can you sell online from China and get paid?

Yes. From China you can sell digital products, courses, SaaS and services to buyers in 190+ countries, as an individual or a company, and get paid in CNY to a bank in mainland China (businesses) or through a card or wallet network (people), twice a month. Stripe does not accept sellers based in China.

How much foreign currency can an individual in China convert each year?

Individuals in China have an annual foreign exchange purchase quota equivalent to USD 50,000 per person, used through normal bank channels. Amounts above the quota need supporting documents showing genuine need. SAFE

Cards issued in Europe cost less: 4.5% + €0.50 per sale. On Pro (€49 a month) every card sale is 4.0% + €0.40. Buyers outside the EU pay no VAT; EU buyers pay VAT on top, which we file.
