How do I sell Figma templates without Figma Community?
The problem“I build Figma UI kits. Figma Community is not taking new paid sellers, Stripe does not cover my country, and I want buyers to pay by card and get the file straight away.”
To sell Figma templates without Figma Community, sell the file on your own checkout and deliver it after payment as a Figma share link or a .fig download. Figma's help says "We are not approving new creators to sell paid files on Community at this time", and Figma's own FAQ says you can use "a third-party payment site" instead. If Stripe does not cover your country, a merchant of record such as AgentaOS can take the card payment, handle the VAT and pay you at home.
Can I still sell paid files on Figma Community?
Not as a new seller. Figma's About selling Community resources (edited 25 September 2026) says: "We are not approving new creators to sell paid files on Community at this time." Its publishing guide repeats it, with no reopening date. Even then, two rules apply:
- Stripe is required. "If you reside in a country that is not supported by Stripe, you will not be able to sell on Community" (Activate your Stripe account, edited 26 October 2026).
- Payout countries are listed. Figma's list includes Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey. N. Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia are not on it.
Approved sellers pay "a flat 15% fee" and "may cash out your balance 30 US business days after a sale is made". And: "You cannot sell files that have already been published as free."
Can I sell Figma templates without Figma Community?
Yes. Figma says: "You can choose to sell your resource using Figma's payment platform or a third-party payment site." A Figma file travels as a share link or a .fig file, so any checkout that sends the buyer to a page after payment works.
Envato is closed too: its help center (edited 25 September 2026) says author applications "are paused" and "new authors join by invitation only" (Envato). And Stripe does not open accounts in N. Macedonia, Albania or Serbia, among others (which countries Stripe does not support).

Who takes payment decides who handles EU VAT. Where the platform is the legal seller (as AgentaOS is), it charges the buyer's VAT and issues the invoice. Where the money goes to your own PayPal or Stripe, you are the seller; read EU VAT when you sell from outside the EU.
AgentaOS charges 4.5% + €0.50 per card sale, or 6.0% + €0.50 for cards issued outside the EEA, with no monthly fee (facts). Payouts run twice a month, on the 1st and the 15th, to your own bank (payouts docs).
How do buyers get the Figma file after they pay?
On a thank-you page. You create a one-time product, set its Success URL to a page on your site, and the buyer lands there after paying (payment links docs). The page holds one of two things:
- A share link with "can view" access and copying allowed, so buyers duplicate the file into their own account. Do not publish it free on the Community, where anyone could take it.
- A .fig download, made with File > Save local copy (Figma help). Buyers import it into Figma.
Keep the page out of your menu and replace the link if it leaks. For a link per buyer, a developer can use the AgentaOS payment webhook to email it.

How do I sell Figma templates, step by step?
- Check what you own. Fonts, icons and photos in the kit need licenses that allow resale.
- Build a preview. Cover shots and a page list on your sales page.
- Prepare the delivery. A "can view" share link with copying allowed, or a .fig copy. Test it in a private browser window.
- Write the thank-you page. The link or download, how to import it, the license in plain words, and how to reach you.
