What does Whop really charge? Whop fees explained
The problem“Whop says 2.7%. My $2,500 retainer paid out $2,289. Where did the rest go?”
2.7% + $0.30 is only the base. Whop adds 1.5% for international cards and 1% for currency conversion, then optional fees that stack: 0.8% orchestration, 0.5% billing and 2% tax service. On a real $2,500 retainer, seven separate fees took $210.37, about 8.4% of the price. All-in, a first year at €2,000 a month is about €2,097, time included.
