Common questions

Is AgentaOS cheaper than Payhip?

It depends on your plan and volume. Payhip Free is 5% plus Stripe or PayPal fees, so roughly 8% + $0.30 on a card sale; AgentaOS is 4.5% + €0.50 all in. Payhip Pro is $99 a month with no Payhip fee, so at high volume Payhip Pro plus card fees can cost less.

Do I need Stripe or PayPal to use Payhip?

Payments on Payhip go through PayPal and Stripe, which charge their standard rates on top of Payhip's fee. If Stripe or PayPal cannot pay you out in your country, check that before you build your store. AgentaOS takes the card payment itself and pays out to your bank or wallet in 86 countries.

Does Payhip handle VAT?

Payhip says it collects, reports and remits digital EU and UK VAT and US and Canadian sales tax on your behalf. AgentaOS is the merchant of record, the legal seller on every sale, so all sales tax, VAT, invoices and chargebacks are ours.

What does AgentaOS add?

A hosted MCP server, CLI and SDK so Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can set up products, checkout links and subscriptions; Pricing Intelligence, which scores your pricing and ranks the fixes; and payouts in countries Stripe and PayPal do not serve, such as Kosovo.

Can I move from Payhip to AgentaOS?

Yes. Create the same products in AgentaOS (or ask your AI agent to), swap the buy links on your site, and keep Payhip until your last subscription renews there.
